Monday Night Bible Study

St. Margaret's Episcopal Church has a very active Monday night Bible Study group that meets at the church at 7P.M. Our group currently consists of 11 women. Our mission is to encourage knowledge and awareness, insight and understanding of God's word; thereby fostering confidence, integrity, love, and hope in our lives and the lives of others.

2005 Annual Report

OUR MISSION: To encourage knowledge and awareness, insight and understanding of God's word; thereby fostering confidence, integrity, love and hope in our lives and in the lives of others. There are seven wonderful women that meet at the church on Monday nights at 7:00 P.M.

Our purpose is to study the Bible and learn all we can from each other. There were two major topics studied in the year 2005. The first was titled When Faith Is All You Have. This was a great study on faith. It was taken from the book of Hebrews, Chapter 11. Our second study was about a great character of the Bible, Abraham. He was truly an excellent model of faith, and the two topics tied in very well. Both studies helped us look at out faith more openly, and freely commit ourselves to build and grow stronger in our faith in God.

We encourage anyone who is interested, to join our group.

Our study sessions are quite interesting. Some of the titles to our sessions in 2003 were: Becoming a Woman of Confidence, Life's Lessons: The Book of James, Becoming a Woman of Prayer, Rejoicing in Any Situation, and The Creative Heart of God.

We have also invited visiting speakers to enrich our weekly studies. The Rev. Laura Howell, from Trinity Church in Bethlehem, brought us a special night of crafting Anglican Prayer Beads. Rev. Lexa Shallcross and Rev. Howell, also presented a night of discussion about Modern Mystics.

The year 2004 found our group studying the Old Testament books of Ezra and Nehemiah, and an eight week study on Integrity: Character From the Inside Out. We enjoy reading and learning from one another, and we bond in our goal to grow spiritually.
